Every great event, it has been well said, brings one absolute new thing into the world. One such event was the setting up of the Maa Gangey Prasidhey Education Foundation Society in 2004. A group of seven like minded people gathered to work in the field of higher and professional education.

The main aim was to provide quality education to the students at an affordable fee. Though modest and un-advertised was their act, yet it created a sensation in the educational history of this region.

The environment today is totally different from the one in 2004. However, the mission of the founders of Maa Gangey Prasidhey Education Foundation Society is pursued with the same goal towards fulfilment of the vision of providing education to the needy in all spheres of human knowledge.

The demands on the technological front are going to intensify and the process of the world which has become a Global Village will gather momentum. In view of the above anticipation, the importance of higher education in building a nation is beyond announces doubt. The growth of a country on all fronts agricultural, scientific, industrial and health care sector is directly proportional to the creation of a well-trained professional work force. This can only be achieved through good quality higher education.
